IY LEGAL recently worn a complicated LMAA Arbitration for a UK Shipowner and its Club against Italian Charterers. The issues involved loadport demurrage and alleged payments under duress, poor stowage and liability under the CP fiost provisions, cargo loss and damage during discharge and NOR validity.
